The Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Embassies of the Nordic & Baltic States and EMI invite you to a Climate Change & Energy Security Event

Advancing Energy Transition while Ensuring Energy Security – Lessons Learned in the Nordics, Baltics and Ireland

Wednesday 15 December at 09.30am – 11.00am IST

Ireland and the Nordic and Baltic countries (NB8) have set ambitious targets to achieving a low-carbon economy, which will require changes to the energy sector and managing energy systems. Transitioning to renewable and low-carbon energy options is an important step towards the goals outlined in the European Green Deal to reach net zero emissions.

Our expert panel of speakers at this free event will discuss how to make the transition to renewable energy as smooth as possible and we will hear from them on the policies they think are needed to achieve this.
