18th of February, the launch of the Ireland office of Estonian company HML Project Management was held at the Estonian Embassy in Ireland. The construction consulting and project management company has a portfolio that includes collaborations with major global clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Ericsson, Microsoft, Workday, and Facebook.
“Our journey in Estonia has been incredibly rewarding, and we are grateful for the trust our clients have placed in us. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of delivering projects for some of the world’s leading companies in data centres and pharmaceuticals,” the company’s founder and CEO Leo O’Neill said.
He noted that being the first Estonian firm in their sector to expand to Ireland was a proud achievement. “We are excited for the new opportunities the expansion brings for our company,” O’Neill said, adding that the new office would not only create jobs but also open opportunities for Estonia’s modular housing sector in Ireland.
Estonian Ambassador in Ireland Kairi Künka said that the expansion of the company to Ireland benefitted other Estonian companies in the construction sector more broadly. “Presenting Estonia’s modular house solutions in Ireland has been Leo’s mission for some time, and we have cooperated in this field extensively. Opening an office in Dublin will surely create new opportunities for making excellent contacts and eventually finding partners,” Künka said, explaining the broader impact of the expansion.
O’Neill added that there was growing demand in Ireland for sustainable, high-quality housing solutions. “Estonia’s wooden buildings sector offers cost-effective solutions – that means there is a lot of potential,” O’Neill, an Ireland native, said.
The Irish office, located in Dublin, will initially create up to 10 new jobs, spanning project management, engineering, business development, and administrative support. “Ireland’s flourishing economy, skilled workforce, and strategic location make it a natural choice for us. It aligns with our growth strategy to support multinational corporations and Irish businesses alike,” O’Neill said.
HML Project Management was founded in 2011 in Estonia, they are headquartered in Tallinn and they have delivered projects successfully in more than 14 countries. The Dublin office will offer
comprehensive construction and project management services, including cost management, risk assessment, procurement strategies and execution, consulting on sustainability, and digital integration.
